Laura MacKenzie is a freelance journalist. She got her Bachelor of Journalism (Honours) at the University of King’s College in Halifax. She has written for the Halifax Commoner, Tidings Magazine, the King’s Journalism Review, the Nova Scotia Business Journal, Business Voice Magazine and the Burnside News.
In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking and eating. She recently discovered that she enjoys eating peppers and two varieties of onion, green and red. The printed page still holds a central place in her heart, but since recieving a Kobo, she is whipping through books faster than a speeding silverfish. Laura spent three months in Europe this summer, and she would most like to revisit Scotland and France.
Laura’s goals include duplicating her favourite Thai dishes at home and learning to use a curling iron.
